You'd think that these geeky parts would have been made as a hobby by a metal fabricator with a president who loves guitars... and you'd be right. In 1996, we were involved in the production of titanium watch bands for the then popular CASIO G-Shock® and decided to debut this new metal in the world of electric guitars as KTS Tone-Resonant Titanium Guitar Components.

As a guitar player myself, I know that when I first play a raw or clean tone at a rehearsal or on stage, if I feel comfortable with it, I can move my fingers and put my heart into the rest of my playing, which in turn enhances my sensitivity and leads to even better playing. On the other hand, if you are not satisfied with the sound, your fingers will not move smoothly and you will not be able to play good phrases. It's a vicious cycle that leads to the worst possible stage performance... So, I thought that the parts that are the source of string vibration have a very important role.

More than 20 years have passed since the development of the KTS, and I feel that the small parts made by a small factory in a small town have finally come to be recognized by people. KTS parts do not dramatically change the sound like effectors or amplifiers do. KTS parts are just a small part of the materials and parts that make up the guitar itself. That's why we're so happy when people tell us, " My acoustic sound is so much better now! ".

As I write this, Tokyo is in the midst of declaring a state of emergency. In the past year, the environment surrounding music such as live performances and concerts has changed drastically. But recently, I have come to feel more connected to people through music. It is said that music is a language that connects people all over the world, and it would be a great pleasure for us if the small parts of KTS could be a part of that language of excitement and joy.
