Schaller adopts KTS Titanium saddles on their guitar bridges
Joining German Engineering and Japanese Manufacturing, for The Best Tone Possible
Schaller, a German manufacturer of high-quality guitar parts with a history of more than 70 years, has announced a model equipped with Tone-Resonant Titanium Saddles made by KTS of Japan, a pioneer in titanium guitar parts, as the top-of-the-line model of its main products, the GTM series bridge (photo) and two other series.
Schaller's products have earned a reputation as one of the world's top brands for their precision metalworking techniques and ideas. The addition of the KTS titanium saddle model provides even more sustain, harmonics, sound separation, and the superior corrosion resistance of the material.
In addition to the Tune-O-Matic style GTM series shown in the photo, the lineup labeled "Schaller Bridge Powered by KTS" includes the Vintage Tremolo + KTS PR-04 pressed saddle (bottom left photo), the Vintage Tremolo + KTS PR-18 block-type saddle (bottom right photo), and the KTS PR-18 saddle (bottom right photo). Each item has 8 different plating options. Plus a Left Hand version of the Vintage Tremolo is also available. All of the packages will have a sticker saying "Powered by KTS" to differentiate them from the existing models.
